Arai (Arai Studio leader and ex Morphosis) asked us to make what he called “Gobal Architecture”
arround a company, an object or a practice showing us Apple and its Apple Stores as an example.

Subject : A pavilion inspired by Kinbaku ceremony and kinbaku drawings. Kinbaku is Japanese for Bondage Ceremony.

Statement : The idea is not to make a pavilion about bondage ceremony, but to extract all the patterns, rhythms and concepts that are
behind this ceremony and build a space and an aesthetic from them in order to give people who would not necessarily have access
to this underground practice. Experiencing the pavilion, you can be a Watcher, The Master or the Subject of the ceremony.

Site : Gocho, the Imperial Palace Gardens. A place for a long time forbidden to the population.
